About the authors
Carla Marina Marchese is a honey expert and beekeeper who educates people from all walks of life about honeybees and the culinary delights of artisanal honey. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts, Marina’s also studied honey tasting in Italy, trained as a Honey Judge at the University of Georgia and is certified by the American Apitherapy Society. Carla lives in Weston, Connecticut.
Kim Florrum Graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in horticulture, after which he worked for 4 years in the USDA Honey Bee Research Lab studying pollination ecology. For more then 25years he has been editor of the monthly magazine “Bee Culture” and is the publisher of many books on honey bee pests and diseases and beekeeping.
